On an extremely rare foray into Linkedin, I've just seen a personnel manager described as, and I quote: a 'Talent acquisition business partner'.

Shoot me now, but not before I've had the chance to temporarily assume the role of a hot beverage coordination imagineer.

OP in the dark ages I am afraid.

Personnel is so 1980's

And yes Talent Acquisition is my job title...

Should I leave now?
Suits me, I've had my own company for a decade. Anyone calling themselves talent acquisition phoned me up, they wouldn't try again. It's a good reminder of what a steaming pile of flowering illusory bks the corporate world is, I don't miss it at all. Still, I make my living from it, so a conciliatory note should be struck: Good lad.

I've seen logistician a few times. No Sir, you plan deliveries, there's no implied magician-ship about it.

But my business cards slip Sales and Operational Manager next to my name, it really annoys me!
You're sales & ops manager for a Porno business?
