I have seen a website online selling titles that you can buy for around £20. Has anyone ever bought one? What does it actually mean? Can it be used?

Shirt this is fairly cheap.

I am still not sure if it is a title change or purely you are known as Mr Lord C********* H********* with your first name being Lord and your title still Mr.

The title Lord is advertised wrongly. In Scotland if you become land owner you can call yourself "Laird" and to get this you could by as small as 1 sq foot of land. Many estates in Scotland sell them but they all coming with conditions. You can't sell " your" land, built anything on, have official document from land register of Scotland etc. However under the Scottish Law now you can legally call yourself Laird "your name". You can have CC and all of yours documents without need of a deed poll. It is a very strong business for some estates.
If I owned a £10,000 council house in deepest, darkest Glasgow - can I call myself Laird?
