Came home from work to find the French doors at the back open, new TV, ipad, Apple TV, wife's jewelry, laptop, my precious TAG Heuer, all of the Christmas presents and the other key to my BMW all gone.

All of our stuff on the floor from pretty much every drawer.

fking gutted.

No finger prints frown

I go to work and work damn hard for my stuff and somebody else just comes and takes it.

I sold an old multi gym last week on a local selling page, 3 unsavoury characters arrived, I though fk at the time, police reckon I had reason to be concerned.

Merry Christmas!

Be safe.

Not good.

Be mindful of a repeat in the next few weeks as they know you will replace the goods...
My thoughts to the Mrs, an expensive alarm system is high on my new Christmas list.

Thanks everybody I've got a lot to do today, priority getting to BMW to get the car key recoded, speak to insurance get a lock smith out, speak to CID and get some more Christmas presents sorted.

It's going to be a lean Christmas, the running total so far to replace everything is mounting up, the bds even stole our wine frown

No sleep either.

I won't be selling anything from home again, the bloke messaged me through facebook, police reckons he could see my full profile which has hundreds of pics many with our stuff on (innocently) and they've cased us when they came.

Be careful.

The car is going through the insurance to have new locks and keys, just waiting for it to be picked up.

Here's the real kicker, I've never changed my house insurance provider since we moved in years ago when we renovated the place, at the time we must have taken out just buildings insurance, so there you go no contents insurance, I didn't even think!

Only myself to blame frown

Not yet she's leaving work early to sort it so hopefully it'll throw something up.

I'm still waiting for the car to be recovered from my parents' house I still need to get the doors secured at home.

Thanks everybody.

Just saw the footage they loiter opposite the house for about 2 - 3 minutes, then run up the drive there's 3 of them, they're in the house for over 10 mins then jump the low wall between us and next door, run across next doors drive one with the TV on their back, he drops his crow bar on the floor then they seem to hide behind a tree and car for a few minutes.

A grey / silver subaru turns up and after that an unknown car atm, they were there until we came home, good job the wife stayed with our car as we had the little boy in it frown

On a serious note, although I'm on the good side, happy to lend a hand if anything is needed.
Problem is its a pretty affluent area and we seem to get targeted, especially for cars.

The police are on the way back round one of the parents picking the kids up from the school round the corner saw 2 lads with hoods up driving up and down our street last week looking at the houses in a silver subaru, she took down the registration number she was so concerned and has passed it to us this afternoon.

Fingers crossed.

The subaru is registered locally (within a mile) the copper came round and said it's probably cloned because you wouldn't use your own car for a heist.

Would you clone a car on your own doorstep?

Probably not, but scumbags aren't known for their smarts. Are the police going to check anyway?
Yes but he said he wasn't very hopeful, the car has been registered to the same bloke and house since 2005 all come back clean.
