Trying to find a location (warehouse, empty office space)

Hi Everyone,

I am currently helping a friend of mine to organize a shoot for a music video.

The band will be performing the song in a disused warehouse, or empty office space, or similar. Problem is, we just can't find the place!!

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone on here happen to know of a location fitting this sort of description, in the Berkshire area? Or close to?

We have found a couple of places online that fit the bill, but they are owned by large companies who are unwillingly to let us use the facility for a couple of days. We also found a farm with a large storage unit that they are looking for someone to rent, but won't let us use it for two days.

The producer of this video is happy to pay a fee, if needed. Although obviously if somebody knows of a place where they may not charge even better!

I wonder if it might be more agreeable to a private individual, or family run business, or farmer etc, as large office companies just won't entertain the idea.

Any help appreciated, and to give you an idea of the kind of space that would be ideal, here's a couple of examples.

Many thanks for the replies so far. Some really interesting places, a couple of which I have PMd about.

Any other potential buildings/spaces out there would be great to consider those also so please post them up if you have any contacts etc.

We have made contact with a couple of commercial property agents but no luck on that front just yet either.

Almost had an office space secured yesterday but facilities manager changed his mind. The search continues...

SlackBladder you may well be our saviour, end of January is fine as shoot won't be until Jan/Feb anyway.

Was thinking of asking a local scout hut, does anyone know if they would go for that sort of thing? Or do they hire the hall themselves anyway and therefore it isn't their call?
