Following the "Go Bag" thread, it got me wondering about whether or not people carry a typically more useful pocket knife or multi-tool with them?

I often have my Leatherman with me and it comes in useful for all kinds of things.

At my work desk I have a Swiss Army Knife "camping" which is also very useful.

When out and about camping/in the outdoors or just abroad an Opinel No.8 is handy. Not really an urban UK pocket knife.

Around the house, garage and garden my Mora Viking has been used for just about any cutting task, but again, not something to carry about with you in the UK.

I used to carry my Leatherman with me all of the time at work. Then bought some proper tools. Jack of all trades, master of non.
It is a pain dragging a full Snap-on tool chest behind you whilst cycling to work, though.

I carry a leatherman type multitool with me, it was a gizzet from a project I worked on some years ago and has lasted well despite having no brand name on it.

I am surprised that some people don't carry anything like this around, what would you do if you found a horse with a stone in its hoof ?
I was thinking more about the times when one's quill pen needs attention.

These tools are very useful, though. My colleagues and friends often borrow mine.

My Leatherman Crunch is compact and has a pair of locking pliers (like Mole Grips) which are a great idea.
