Some highly amusing stories here! I'm glad that some of you took time to post your experiences.

I've always been into the supernatural since a young age but haven't really experienced anything.

My parents are Vietnamese and it's amazing to see how superstitious they are. Also, when things don't have an easily understandable explanation, they look to the supernatural. For instance, when people suffer sleep paralysis in Vietnam, they call the experience "being squeezed by a ghost" which is understandable when sleep paralysis is sometimes accompanied by the feeling of someone pressing down on you. Also, decades ago when infant death was prevalent in Vietnam, babies dying were explained away by saying the spirits had taken them away. We never called my grandma "grandma" at all. We were taught to call her by her name in order to confuse the spirits and cut any maternal link from her. Strange indeed.

I run a bar and have a lot of young guys in their twenties working for me. Whenever we are quiet and it's a bit quiet, I always jokingly suggest doing a ouija board. None of them ever agree to do one. I never would either but it's surprising to see the fear they have for those things. And to think it was marketed as a game in the US!
