There's no rhyme nor reason to this kind of thing, but we all have something which for some fathomless reason we won't bin. I'll start you off with my auntie's old fish slice and grater. The slice is worn and battered and I have a new stainless one, but I always reach for the old one. Same with the 1950's grater. Why? I can't tell you because I have no idea myself. Now it's your turn!

Come to think of it, the oldest thing I still have I guess is my Hornby Dublo set from 60 years ago. Now in the loft at my daughter's in case my grandson is ever interested! And some wind-up tinplate toys, and Dinky, and zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
