Army quotes....

Evening all

I work for a Local Authority and today i've simply had an horrific day at work, you know the ones.....where you get home from work and get straight on the web to look for a new job.

Anyway, before i did that my day reminded me of a quote that is sometimes used in the Army. I read it first on piston heads but can't really remember it all...........i want to use it in my resignation letter!!! It went something like this.....

"for so long, each year we continue to do more with less until we have reached the point where now we are expected to do everything with nothing"

Does it ring a bell with anyone and if so, do you know what the full quote is?
