Excluding physical attributes (i.e. to have bigger tits etc. wink) what's the one thing you would like to change about your partner? Say you could have them hypnotised to change their thinking about this particular thing?

For me it would be her fussiness when it comes to food. She won't eat fish, shellfish, offal, game, mushrooms, in fact most stuff out of the ordinary & all the stuff I love.

I love her and in reality wouldn't change anything but I'm currently looking for a nice restaurant to take her for her 40th Birthday, looking at some Michelin star type establishments. Can always rule out the tasting menus which I'd love to try as there is always at least a fish component and something else she won't like / try. Even the A-La-Carte options can be tricky. I love my food and want to try all these places but it wouldn't be any good taking her along. I need a dining partner laugh

Our differing tastes in music is a close second but I can live with that.

So what's your choice or have you all got perfect partners?

I'd like her to stop putting my knives in with the general washing up.

  • It damages them
  • It damages the things they hit
  • They are very very sharp, and reaching below the bubbles is now very scary.
You're not alone on that one either. Most stuff goes in the dishwasher but when I'm confronted with a sink full of water and bubbles normally full with the kids plastic beakers, plates etc. I dive in to do it only to find a few of my Global knives at the bottom. Fair enough the knives aren't supposed to go in the dishwasher but leave them on the side.

That and she fills the sink with stuff "to soak" which would be okay if she came back to it 15 minutes later and actually washed it up but usually hours later your left with a sink full of cold dirty water and a load of stuff that is probably no cleaner than when it was put in there in the first place, in fact some of it is now probably more dirty, so you have to start again.

Coupe of things:

  1. She will have a moan at me about something that she doesn't like me doing; I will retaliate with a moan about her doing something that I don't like, she will then come back with "oh stop moaning, you sound like a moany old man, you are getting really miserable and moany" or something like that. In esscence she is allowed to have a dig but I am not and I find it kind of ironic that she will have a moan at me but then will have a moan back about my moaning and tell me to stop moaning all the while whilst she is.......err moaning.
  2. Going out; when we get ready to go out at a set time I want to go out, I don't want both of us to get ready and then all of a sudden to be left standing around for 20 minutes as the bloody washing has finished so she then decides to emty it and hang stuff up and then spot that the hall floor is a bit mucky so then will whip the hoover out and start hoovering, all whilst I'm standing around and then when I say something "oh stop moaning"
I thought this sort of stuff was normal biggrin I ignore it for the most part. That said as we've got two kids (2 & 4) it takes forever to get out of the house and if we have to be at something for a specific time we're nearly always late but somehow it's always my fault rolleyes
