Life lesson here: the nearest pub to me is a 2min walk, 5min ferry ride (free) and 30s walk on the other side. Nice weather so went here for a pint. Now missed the last ferry back, which was 9:15, so am sitting here on pint number 3 looking across the water to my house with the choice of a 42 mile journey round the loch to get home or staying the night with a few more drinks.

Locals (that live on the same side as the pub) are having a right laugh.

Corran Ferry?
Correct!

Yes, I know very well that the last ferry is Ardgour to Corran 9:15 and Corran to Ardgour 9:30. But with it being light to late on, and enoying a pint it's easy to forget the time. At least I'm off work tomorrow.

OP - what happened?!
I stayed over, enjoyed a number of pints and got home first thing this morning. Nothing more exciting than that!

There used to be a pub at each side years ago (Corran Inn on my side but demolished years ago).
