Folks

I need some new work shirts and was hoping for a recommendation. You'd think this would be easy enough but alas no!

Price range of about £20-25 per shirt max, I tried the Thomas Nash ones from Debenhams a little while ago and thought the quality was quite poor - not much better than supermarket ones. I then tried their 'St George by Duffer' ones which were better on quality but they were an absolute b*****d to iron.

So over to you, good people!

Thanks guys.

Meant to specify has to be button cuff not cufflink!

Will check out Charles whatshisface, trouble is I really prefer to be able to try on, though if the returns policy is ok that's not so bad!

Closest store to me is 50 miles each way so would want to order online - would you say CT's slim fit is more like a normal fit at high street stores?

I'm pretty average build, a bit of a chest going on but otherwise relatively normal build, would you recommend the slim fit?

I should add that I'm not a powerful company director and anything above Florence and Fred would be seen as relatively high quality

CT certainly seem the best for choice and value for money.

Not sure the store list is up to date. There is a store in Park Street, Bristol which doesn't appear on that list for instance.
Ah, perfect!

That store is a TM Lewin - are they the same brand/chain?

Thanks for all the advice people. Ended up at TM Lewin as my accountancy body had a voucher for them - any shirt for £20 each so 5 for £100 - they look better quality than I'm used to and could try them on without a 100 mile round trip!

Cheers!
