A colleague is about to retire after 25 years 'service'.
We're only a small company but feel it's appropriate to present him with a small gift as a thank you. He has a decent watch so we think the obvious choice is unsuitable.
Despite the long service, we don't know him that well as he's in a remote branch and hass rarely made it to social occasions. Two things we do know; he's a keen rugby fan and he's planning a tour of Britain with his wife when he retires.

The budget is limited to about £1,250 - any ideas please?

Thanks all. thumbup
We quite like the idea of a lifetime membership of National Trust - he's an annual member anyway so we know it's something he's interested in, plus the price of joint senior membership is spot on the right price.
I think we're sorted. Nice one chaps!
