Search reveals a few threads (see what I did there!) on this but nothing recent so would appreciate a bit of up to date advice and recommendation.

I'm hitting the half century in a few weeks and to mark the significance, rather than the usual Birthday Berni Inn and Bunk Up, the OH has kindly offered to arrange for me to have a Tailored Suit made. I don't wear suits everyday; mainly for big meetings and posh dos. I work in what is loosely described as the 'creative industries' albeit it in a specialised field and have a preference for a style that is subtly quirky. I've two off the peg William Hunt suits that I quite like, but neither are particularly durable.

So, any pointers and recommendations would be gratefully received.

I'm in Chelmsford if that's important and budget wise; I'm an Omega Seamster, Mercedes kind of guy....rather Rolex/Roller.

Thanks in advance.

More interested to find out a little more about what you do, to be honest!
Quite literally, I talk rubbish!
