My wife has got some hand soap for the kitchen and it smells of Roses allegedly, I cant stand it, it makes me feel queasy, she cooked smoked fish Risotto and that was making me heave as she re-heated it from the microwave, smells like old folks home !

Weird ones I like, Dettol, JET A1/plane fumes in general, the dog, aged 944 interiors, wood smoke, Cigar smoke (in small doses), Solder, uncatalysed petrol engines.

Jogging clunge.

Kind of a love/hate thing going on with that one.
Clunge, my knowledge of Inbetweeners and general slang vernacular means I know that means female genitalia.

So, get that bit, but where does the jogging come in ? does your significant other partake in running and doesnt get chance for a shower post exercise or are you the scourge of local female runners and their laundry baskets ?

And why love/hate ?

Anyway, I had it in mind that lady gardens would make an appearance early on biggrin

Like:

Peaty / smokey flavoured whisky
The interior smell of an old car. I bought my MG Midget partly because of how it smelt.
Angle grinding
Welding
WD40

Dislike:

Omelettes being cooked - but I love eating them
Any flavour of stuff that goes in those huge vape/cumulonimbus devices.
Cheesy Wotsits
My missus is with you on the Omelette thing, she cant abide it but loves them, I am ambivalent to the smell mostly, but burnt egg isnt nice and occasionally you get it bang on and it smells great.

Smell is different to other senses it has a direct link to memories so it can trigger them easily, so I think a lot of smells and our reactions to them are formed early on and our state of mind at the time may have a bearing on how we react now.

I LOVE the smell of coffee - but hate the actual drink, or anything coffee flavoured. Does anyone else experience that with coffee (or anything else)? Or just me?
Love the smell of smoke from a log fire
Petrol
Toasted scones (if you've never had a toasted scone before, you're missing out)
Blowing out a match

Hate
The smell of my hands after using the communal boxing gloves at MMA
Bananas (even though I quite like bananas...!?)
I love the smell and taste of coffee but anything coffee flavoured is generally disgusting, I would buy Revels if they put a pea or something , instead of the coffee on.
