Reality is I was looking for work and didn't want the warts and all diary as an early hit on Google for prospective employers. Secondly, it had done the rounds on the internet and I had no control over its distribution and, thirdly, I had a hissy fit.

I did answer a thread in the help forum, saying I will happily email a copy of the diary to people if they send me a PM- which I still extend on here.

Did you ever document the wider prison experience, not specifically related to you and your case? I mean, what you saw, heard etc. Bullying, hierarchy, nice cons, bad screws, that sort of stuff.

I just told it from my own perspective. There were the good, the bad and the ugly all over the place on all sides, and one or two stories that would be worth telling, but I never really sat and wrote it down.

Oh, and thank you to those who have been complimentary. I sound old? OLD?! Yep, that'll be me.
