it seems getting back in the saddle really does work!

Wife is 6 weeks pregnant and we are booked in for an early scan today at 11:00.

We are more confident this time as her Hcg levels are massively higher than last time and she has had more pregnancy symptoms.

Hcg level at 6 weeks last time were 1400, this time at 5+2 they were 8623.

Fingers crossed!

Scan was good, everything is where it's supposed to be. Back for another one in ten days.

Wife had some feeling of sickness (but no actual morning sickness), nausea and went right off certain foods (chicken , eggs) and had a few periods of extreme tiredness.

Seems better now but is having trouble sleeping and needs to go to the toiled about 4 times a night.

We had our 12 week scan on Thursday, all looking good.

My wife is the same as yours, lots of nausea but no actual sickness, can't sleep brilliantly and constantly on the loo!

Roll on the 10th of April!

Really sorry to hear that. That's exactly what happened to us and it was horrible.

Keep positive and remember that if you're both ready she'll be in a perfect position to catch next time.

Mrs L had her appointment with the midwife on Friday at 24 weeks, everything fine and dandy.

Nursery carpet got fitted on Friday too ready for delivery of furniture.

We got the sonographer to write the sex of the baby on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. As we always go to my best mates parents for Xmas day we have wrapped the envelope in with his sister's present so we will find out what we are having on Xmas morning!

Due to a higher bmi we are having scans every 3 weeks. Had one yesterday at 28 weeks and it appears that we may be due 3rd April rather than the 10th.

We had 31 week scan yesterday and everything is going well, baby is measuring 4lb 2 and has his head pointing downwards.

I'm no expert but does 4lb seem high for 31 weeks??

Wife had 'the show'on Thursday and has been having really achy hoops and back. So at 38 + 3 we are just waiting for things to happen now.

Waters have gone this morning, midwife is due this morning to take blood pressure anyway so I've come into work until we know what's going on!

Had a call at 9:30 to come back and take wife to hospital. Confirmed waters broken and sent home, if nothing happens tonight then she is being induced tomorrow at 10am.

Welcome to the world Freddie James Lane, born this morning at 4:06 weighing in at 7lb 13.

Wife is unbelievable, at home until 2am came to hospital and was 4 cm dilated. Started pushing at 3:57 and he was out in 9 mins!

Can't begin to express how proud I am of her and how great it feels now he's finally here.

Little man had a photo shoot yesterday and the sample pictures have come out really well!
