Feeling rough following an operation

My OH had an operation on Saturday and needed a general anaestetic. The operation was to remove a lump from her breast.

Since then she has felt really quite rough; she has passed out a couple of times including today in a pub when an ambulance was called. They wanted to admit her but she refused. She is at home now.

She was extremely anxious leading up to the opreation and I think that may be half the problem. She may have also done a bit too much today as she is still quite sore around her breast and down her side.

Is it possible that the anaestetic is still in her system and is causing problems or will this have all gone now? Has anybody suffered in a similar way?
