Anyone had this, will be having one soon...

I have been given the option of sedation or GA, really not sure ehich to have.

Never had a GA in my life, so a little unsure about it, but this is what the doc is pushing for...

Think I have decided to try sedation.

Forget to mention, I had an endoscopy years ago with sedation and didn't find it too bad.

Didn't realise you would be able to taste it tho!!

Well since starting this thread I am still waiting for the date for mine!

Couple of months wait they said.

Suppose that is nothing now after waiting 6 months to see the specialist in the first place!

Well finally going in on Friday for mine.

Strangely, I have not been given any Picolax for anything else to take before i go in?!

Just looked at the paperwork and you are right! It is a sigmoidoscopy. I didn't realise!

Is it just a case of the sigmoidoscopy not going as far up?!
