Blood in urine (female) causes?

My other half (26 year old female) has had small amounts of blood in her urine for the last few months, which is really worrying her. She went to the doc about a month ago who did a dip test, which came back all clear. Aside from minor pain in her lower abdomen she has no other pain or symptoms. She's booked in to see the gp again at the end of the week but is now convinced it's going to be bladder cancer - any doctors on here have any ideas what else it could be?!

Cheers mate I really appreciate that - she's a serious worrier but also a phd student so some good old data seems to have calmed her down a bit! PH really is a gem, you have no idea how much better she'll sleep tonight.

Thanks everyone.

She's definitely taking it seriously and is seeing the doctor tomorrow (the soonest appointment they ). I'll update this once I know what they said...fingers crossed it's nothing serious!
