Afternoon Chaps,
Accutane, believe a few of you have used it. I had a big acne breakout on the back and shoulders that was unexpected and the dermologist I saw put me straight onto accutane to deal with it. Been running it for a month so far and other than dry lips its been working well.
Last few days however my face (Which has had no problems) is really suffering. Red blotches, small spots breaking out etc, plus it feels dry as hell and sore to touch. Is this normal? And if so whats recommended to deal with it. I'm due to see the derm again on the 10th but I'm starting to look a tad ridiculous at the moment especially as I had an issue that was not visible to all and sundry and now is very visible!

Didn't realise they calculated the dosage on weight, I'm 65kg.
Moisteriser seems to be doing the trick, although I have a rash around the edges of my mouth that looks terrible. Meh, if it doesn't clear up soon I'll just live with the spots on the shoulders and back. (Quite how someone develops acne at 33 I have no idea)
