Cardio- weights - cardio? Bad idea?

I currently go to the gym near to my work, I cycle about 5-6 miles in, then mooch into the gym, do a half hour of proper cardio, then the weights routine (gonna get buff! )... then shower, walk into work.
Since my start times at work are changing I mightn't be able to do this, so I've found a 24hour gym. Assuming it isn't crap, it would mean cycling there, then doing cardio and weights, then cycling about 2 miles to work. Apart from having to get up earlier, is this a bad idea? I would be taking the last bit of cycling fairly easy, I just don't want to a- kill myself or b- undo the weight training.
Probably a stupid question but I'm not a natural athlete so I tend to double check...
