Is it going to kill me to occasionally work out 3times in a day. I'm thinking of a swim in the morning, swim at lunch and some weights in the evening. I'm only thinking very occasionally, I often do two times a day but again not often.

Just tricky to fit things in all the time and I like to make sure I have one full rest day a week.

Only once and he told me he loved me: -)

I'll probably do one endurance swim in the morning, so 5x 400m main set and at lunch do a threshold set of 18x 100m with short rest.

Weights I'm just doing light weights for high reps to increase endurance.

I'll take a couple of mars milks between

Can't see a problem, just get plenty food in there to refuel!

Can't see why you would want to train 3 times a day though.
Want is probably not the correct word. Some days I have plenty of time to train, others I have to be in work early, to leave early to get the kids and look after them whilst the wife is at college. So some days I can have complete rest but I then need to squeeze more in on other days. I could do some at the weekend but that then eats into family time.

There are not enough hours in the day.

Anyway 2/3 done already today. Thankfully my weights session is legs later as my arms are aching now.

Are you Scott Alexander in disguise?
Wasn't sure who that was so I Googled the name. No, I am definitely not him :-)
