I've come across a few people with mild aspergers lately and noticed many of them turn out to be much older than I first thought. EG some I thought were very early 20s and actually being around 30, one I took to be late 20s turning out to be just over 40.

Of course a lot of people seem young for their age, but there does seem to be a pattern here.

Is this usual with aspergers or just a coincidence?
Does delayed social development such as not asking any girls out till the age of 20 give the impression of immaturity?

They don't seem immature in a bad way, it's just that it's easy to underestimate their ages.

Professional experts, certainly for the most part. There might be one or two in the group diagnosed unofficially but certainly no more than that.
