hi guys,

i'm just wondering what the thoughts are regarding training for 10 minutes an hour, rather than the traditional hour'ish block. it might be easier for me to get 10-15 minutes in every kind of 60-90 mins. or is that a waste of time?

i get plenty of cardio in on my way to/from work on the bike or the foot

thanx, brimble.

Oh my god guys, so sorry. I'd completely forgotten i'd posted this....

The results i'd like to achieve is what i guess most guys in their mid-thirties would be after. More toned/defined perhaps more muscle and less fat. 6 pack obviously...

I'm 6ft2. 85 kg and according to them posh body fat scales approx 12%fat, so good but could be better. I pretty much don't drink booze and eat pretty well i think. I do go to the gym 3-4 times a week (plus my cardio) to do my weights, but without any real kind of routine or plan, and just tend to freestyle it.

So anyway, my cardio is pretty good and i'm happy with. I did bench a 100kg bar the other day for 2 reps which seems to be increasing so i must be doing something ok smile. But i think would find it easier to get 10-15 mins in every sort of 90 mins and wondered what the downsides are, but reading the above replies, it looks like the warm up would or could be the biggest consideration and drawback.

If the multiple short sessions are possible, what should i be doing, and actually, thinking about it, if it isn't going to be any good, what should i be doing in the traditional x4 1hr sessions a week? confused

Thanks again,

brimble

Bloody hell!! He's a big old dude isn't he! Makes you wonder how hard and long it takes to get that size.
