Exige to Evora
Discussion
HI all,
I own an Exige Cup 260 MY '09 in nearly mint condition, it's the last of a series of 7 Elises/Exiges i previously owned.
A few days ago my Lotus dealer in Milan that officially is no more, proposed me a good deal
for a NA Evora already registered with delivery miles.
The car has really nice specs, it comes in Artic Silver/Magnolia leather, fully loaded and silver
forged wheels. The downside is that it is a '10 / early ' 11 model so it doesn't include some
important upgrades like the gearshift mechanism.
Also my concern is about that slow revving/lazy engine, is there anyone of you coming from Exige
and regretting it, bearing in mind that the Evora would be used every now and then on the weekend,
not for trackdays though
Kind Regards
Roberto

Hi Kambites,
Yes, he offered me a short test drive, for what is worth a short spin in Milan, the car is still
residing in the showroom with wrapped seats. He also insisted to start up the car there, tryng
to persuade me, but it was not a good idea, since it sounded pretty much like my wife's ugly Fiesta
Oilchange,
The gearshift upgrade is a minor problem, and not much expensive to sort, are you aware whether
engine mounts were upgraded at some stage ?
Alternatively i was thinking to keep my Exige, take a Honda CRZ like GT/holiday car for the odd
trip over 100 miles. I have also just swapped my old Yaris daily driver for an IQ.
Regards
