So hard to find the right evora, I thought I'd found one at lotus silverstone but due to the bloody MotoGP being on I couldn't get up to look at it, then some other bugger brought it ! Also annoying that Edinburgh have 2 I really like the look of but I live in Stevenage and its 1000 mile round trip, plus any warranty work is an unknown entity. I want a brightish colour and a 2+2 and a budget of around £33k , is it likely more will come on the market over the winter ? Shame more of these weren't brought new as second hand the pickings ain't rich

Thanks for the replys guys! I will make a few calls , see what can be done, I'm not in a big rush as the my boxster still does a wonderful job so maybe I will hang out for a NA MY12 car, people eventually must get bored of them smile

Fear not, the second i get one prices will plummet, Lotus will start selling new ones for £30k and mine will be worthless wink . I dont 'need' seats but i thought they might be handy to take the nephew and neice out, plus to fit the odd drunk mate in and do a small 2 mile trip to save him getting a taxi, Ive yet to see a NA MY12 car, and with the 10-11 cars holding their price so well it makes the new ones look like good value, then budget slip creeps in. I guess thats the price you have to pay to drive a rare car, still only ever seen one on the road. Seems to be lots of love for them on here, real shame that lotus didnt sell more of these, but all decent sports cars seen to be holding well right now, 911 Gen 2 seem to be holding very well as do many of the boxster/cayman range.
Off for another look at the classified, but not much ever changes on there !!

My only issue with that would be I suspect the premium you pay for the MY12 would stay with the car, you might spend 3-4k on a re-trim and you still don't have the MY12, in those circumstances it would be better to pay the extra. Of course as you know It's academic as MY12 NA don't actually exist in this universe.

I did wonder about the rear seats, the photos always looked like the rear seats where from a different car, almost grey compared to the black leather fronts, I even questioned silverstone that they had the correct pictures! I would much prefer leather all round, seems silly to skimp on this little detail, it can't have saved lotus anything in costs ! Might just get a MY12 S and lie to the Mrs about the cost "got it for £25k, bargin hey darling"

Nice!! What colour is the car? And how long does it take, my experience of trimmers is your looking at months for anything
