Renewing insurance
Discussion
Hello All,
Its that painful time of year again...
There are threads about which company to go to etc, but I was speaking with a broker yesterday and they said beware of some of the high street companies, because in the case of an unfortunate event, they will use one of "their" repair shops, which most likely will not be that familiar with the cars. I appreciate that it is the insurers responsibility to repair the car to the condition it was in prior to the event, but you cannot always see what lurks under the skin, although there is no guarantee that a specialist will get it right either.
Does anyone use a mainstream who let you choose the repair shop?
