So according to that scum newspaper (you all know who im talking about) your club are hypocrites for banning a racist fan from games but not handing Terry a harsher punishment than a 2 week fine, thats how it was explained on SSN.

I dont understand it myself, fans and players are governed to a different set of rules, your not likely to ban Terry from playing ever again are you?

I can see what the point they are getting at, a 2 week fine is hardly going to affect John in any way but what else can Chelsea do? If they fine him a huge amount they risk upsetting him, fine him too little and they will be criticised.

On Neymar, didnt Barcelona already start paying down payments on his transfer in/before the summer?

Doing the rounds that the complaint relates to racist language.

It's ironic as its precisely the same language used by JT, it may not be a racial insult per se, but it is an insult on the basis of the persons origins. JT calling Ferdinand a black c**t, is as descriptive as Mata being called a Spanish tt. I wonder if enberg will have the same censure.
So Ferdinand originated from Black istan?

Funny I thought he was from Peckham

No but he is as black as Mata is Spanish. If one is an insult then why isn't hte other?
Would that not be more Xenophobia though? Rather than racism?

For me at the minute Torres offers absolutely nothing, so it would be between Sturridge or Moses for me. I'm praying we sign a top class striker in January who still has something to prove at the top level.

I really like Torres and wish things could have been different for him at Chelsea, but it's just not happening for him for whatever reason. I find myself getting so frustrated with him when watching live games, it's just as if his heart isn't in it.

But as you say, sometimes Sturridge takes a shot on when he should have passed, but I honestly think he has fantastic ability and a run in the side would see him shine.
Is Torres being picked on RdM's say so? Or higher up?

He should at least have been given a chance until Pep finished his holiday, makes no sense to appoint someone else just to fill that gap now.
rofl

So Pep has an amazing reputation and could pretty much walk into any club right now....and he's gonna risk all that by choosing Chelsea?

Have a word

Absolutely nothing. I seem to be the only one sticking up for the owner here and although I don't agree with some of the managerial sackings, or to be more precise the timings of those sackings I do believe he has done so much for Chelsea and that his decisions are made genuinely in what he believes are the best interests of the club.

Look at Old Trafford, Anfield, Villa Park. Their fans are supposedly disgusted about the ways the clubs have been run or put into huge amounts of debt but the fans are hardly staying away are they?
So apart from chuck truckloads of money at the club, what has he done that is good?

Sack Mourinho? Force Players onto the managers? Play lets pretend to be a football manager with your club?

Money is what he brings to the club, what do you want him to do? Should he get his tracksuit on and go out and train the kids, maybe he should be mowing the pitch?
No I expect him to act like a proper chairman, allow the manager to get on with the job and periodically review the performance as per a proper club. Look at Mansour, how often do you hear his name? RA wants to be a celebrity owner and its making you look ridiculous.

Look at Mike Ashley, hated by Newcastle fans, has now given them stability and progress, Money is not the be all and end all

His money has changed a club that was going to become bankrupt in days to a club that has no debt, has had it's most successful period in its history, has massively expanded it's global market share (yes football is a business) and is in line to meet the financial fair play rules.

That's quite an achievement.
It's no achievement at all, he has plowed billions into players and managers, of course some trophies will come from that. That's all he has acheived, he has forced 2 players we know about onto managers and has sacked, I've lost count 6 managers during his tenure?

Do you think you would have won more or less trophies with Mourinho in charge?

FFP won't do anything, the EPL and La Liga are too important to FIFA.

As for spending money...its RA's bloody money, he can do what he likes with it. Same with the Glazers, Sheik Mansour, Alan Sugar and every other chap in a suit who's bought a football club for the last 100 years.
Agree in parts

FFP will be toothless in the main I think

With regards to RA being able to do what he wishes with his money, of course he can

But he acts in a very New Money way that I think a lot of people find offensive and it doesn't help Chelsea's cause, although I am sure most of you are very Millwall about it

If it was just the money it would be less of an issue, its the constant meddling, sacking, buying players that causes the main issue IMO, I think he wants to be a Hello magazine type of chairman

Wadeski,
Take off your blue blinkers and smell the coffee. Read, the figures. If and when RA goes whether by his own violition, (the managers job will soon be a poisoned chalice, and only money grabbing manager need apply), or by a bullet. the company will be well and truly in st street.
ManU have 700m of debt, Lpool are running up to it. Only Spurs and Arsenal are getting the sums right, and with his departure you will be doing a Rangers FC big time.
No doubt EUFA has some slimy scheme up their sleeve for the CL,only time will tell.
Wenger has won SFA for seven years and is still there, but the club is solvent, unlike Chelsea, despite what your qualification in accounting is
I think Utd are running at appx 460m now

Many of the players at Liverpool HATED him, he decimated the backroom staff by getting rid of many of the core staff such as the long serving player liason officer, he wasted multi-millions on average players and tried to get rid of Alonso to buy Barry and not to mention Ferguson causing him a near nervous breakdown.

Basically he inherited the makings of a very good side from Houllier and proceeded to slowly turn Liverpool into a mid-table side.

The mind boggles at why the Russian has hired him, he is obviously waiting for Guardiola but will he want the job?
What a load of crap,

Rafa made some fantastic signings, more than most, yes he bought some crap but if its big signing success you want he is as good as most. His major 2 failures were Keane (not signed by him) and Aquilani.

We all know about the Alonso problem, it was a mistake A BIG ONE, but name me a manger who does not make them.

As for inheriting a good side from Houlier then making a bad one - laughable

He will shock alot of you, and confirm to what 95% of us Reds know that he is a top manager and Chelsea will do well with him...
Interestingly that was in reply to a question put to Red Trident and some of us have had suspicions that they are one and the same
