Can't see another thread on it so figures this is a start.

Luis Suarez and Diego costa could be out.
Suarez needs a minor knee opp apparently, lets hope it goes well for him.
Why?
I'm not sure really, I don't know what i prefer most, his charm or or his charisma , either way he's a truly lovable fellow, I especially like his pointy teeth & the way he loves & respects all of the opposition he plays against.

He reminds me of a modern day artful dodger with that lovely cheeky chappie persona he has. The world cup will miss him if he doesn't make it , I know i will
At least if Suarez is out you can take solace in watching your teams strikers at the WC...oh wait, hang on...

I'd much rather see them on the beach with their feet up to be honest.
Keeping fresh for their charge into Europe next season?..oh wait, hang on...

True, all records have to come to an end, but still, Ronaldo is my all time favourite player.
All time? Why? It's a free world, but he wouldn't make my top 20.
You're talking about the Brazilian snaggle toothed trannyshagging Ronaldo right?

Awesome, awesome player.

Light on strikers mind...
But they have a phenomenal attacking midfield. They won't be short of goals.

Why do you hardly see any PremierShip flags dotted around the ground at England matches yet there are hundreds of lower league flags on display...
Because it costs so much for prem games no on can afford to see England?.... wink

Italy are pants, there's no pace in that team.
Eh? Balotelli has no pace? I thought they were fantastic against England; they always deliver in the world cup.
I'm not sure fantastic is correct. decent is perhaps more apt.

And they either run hot or cold at the WC:

2010 - didnt get out the group stage
2002 - Last 16
1998 - QF

How much did the England squad get paid?
Too much.
They donate their match fees to charity.

Messi is not, and never will be a second coming of Maradonna. He's good and a delight to see when on form, but, not that good.
Imho Messi is better than Maradonna. I grew up watching Maradonna but Messi is just that bit more special.

Germany 1-2 Argentina.

Germany to go in front then Argentina to pull two back to win 2-1.

I hope so as I have $10 on this at 75/1...
