Just bought my first Jap car
Discussion
Yesterday I picked up my first Jap car, needing something a bit larger and more practical than my MGB.
Its a 1999 Subaru Legacy GT Twin Turbo, it needs a bit of love but nothing major. The interior is immaculate, tyres and brakes good with loads of life left and the engine quiet. It also comes with an LPG conversion which should give a cost equivalent of 35mpg.
Main things on the to do list are:
-New front bumper to replace the cracked and badly repaired current one
-Headlights misty and need a polish
-Remove adhesive from window surrounds where the wind deflectors were removed.
-Tidy up engine bay
Not bad for £1300 I think although a bit of a risky way into Subaru ownership.
