Moneys abit tight this month. ..and my wrxs hatch is in need of new discs and pads :-(....I'm no mechanic. ...but pretty good with my hands (carpenter ) so going to have a stab at it myself :-)....any idea if theres a step by step guide available on line for this model.

Cheers chaps ,that's just the info I was looking for .....seem to remember reading something about using copper grease where the pads sit in the caliper,to lessen squeal.....good idea ?

Help !!!!!!!! Disc not coming off ....the hand brake adjuster does not look like the picture....seems to be a pin with a spring wrapped round it....any ideas ?

I'm guessing that all four wheels need to be off the ground then rotated till adjust er is visible ?

Not a problem finding the hole....but lining hole up with adjuster was the issue.

Anyways. ...thanks to all who passed on there knowledge. ...i seem to have done a good job as the brakes still work :-)

But........long story short.....couple of months ago..car went into respected garage to have 4 year service...and to identify a squeak from wheel....service done....noise identified as discs in bad condition. ...he was right......but still have same noise as before :-(...any ideas ? Hubs been checked and deemed to be good.....go round corners I get a ...ek...ek..ek.....but not all the time ?
