Apparently the first lineartronic diesel Foresters will be available in the UK from March, having driven the same power unit in the Outback it's certainly something which interests me....I understand the new Outback is due in the very near future .....

2.0 Diesel, 2.5 petrol and 3.6 options are fitted in the new model for the Australia and U.S markets but the European car is 2.0D and 2.5 only from what I can gather, pity....!
