2001 Bugeye, rear wheel arch corrosion.

I have a 2001 Bugeye that has been resprayed at some point (though not well) and I am now getting some corrosion showing on the forward lip of both rear wheel arches.

Can this be sorted now by a small repair patch? Rubbing back and re-painting? Or is it a case of changing the whole arch?

Thankfully I know someone with a ramp so that should make it easier, does anyone have a preferred supplier for 02c paint and which rust inhibitor would anyone recommend?
