Finally Insurable

So come October this year I will finally be 21!

Having a quick look at comparison sites I can insure a roughly 02-04 WRX STI for the £1200 mark. This is very good in my opinion considering I have 6 points.
By comparison my 83 Cherry Turbo comes in at £500, Range Rover td6 is £800.


What sort of money would I be looking at spending to get into a blobeye WRX STI? Would just be a standard car due to insurance reasons still.

Well I imagine it would stay standard till I either turn 22 or find a cheap specialist modified car policy.

Real reason I wanted the STI is I heard they were the must have version?

Was looking more around the £5000 mark :/

Might have to just get myself a wrx for a year, this is assuming you cant finance another 1-2k on top while being a student.

A WRX will be provide ample thrills. Bear in mind they ain't cheap to fuel.

Coming from a td6 Range Rover im used to 25 mpg avg at the best of times.
