I have a 2004 WRX STi blob eye ,

But the head lights are faded, any ideas how I clear them up?

3m headlight kit & a power drill. Sounds crazy but works.

MDMA .

As above, or any polish with some cut in it.

I had this issue on my Impreza wagon. To resolve I used wet and dry sand paper, I started with 2000 grit followed by 2500 grit, followed by 3000 grit. I then polished it with Meguiars PlastX.

Each headlight took approximately half an hour and both now look like new.

The key is to ensure that the headlight/sandpaper is wet whilst sanding as otherwise you risk scratching the surface.

Even clean, most Subaru headlights are border-line dangerous. Need to find and fit a set of JDM HIDs.

Another vote for the 3M kit. Works very well.

T-cut and elbow grease. The headlamps on my 05 Blobeye were similar. £6 for the T-Cut and about 10-15 minutes with a soft cloth on each lamp. Totally totally transformed them. It didn't removed the big dings (stone-chips that would have broken a glass lens) but the grey hazing has totally gone. I even did the rears and it removed a couple of niggly marks there too.

As someone else said, even when they're clean they're useless! A candle would provide more usable light.
Get them mopped. then at the very least get some upgraded bulbs (osram nightbreakers?) or a good quality HID kit. I've got 6000k HID's in my 2005 blob and it's much better.

HIDs in non-projector units scatter light and are not only illegal, but dangerous - as you will blind oncoming traffic.

If your headlight lenses are damaged you should restore them. If you are not sure how to do this most detailers will do this for 25 or 30 quid per headlight.

Process is you wetsand the light with sandpaper and then work up through the grades then use a rotary polisher to restore a crystal clear finish
Then you coat the headlight with a quality wax or ceramic coating to protect against UV and prevent fading.
