I'm looking to replace the tyres on my Foz Sti as the current ones could do with a refresh. Anyone have any experience on the above tyres? I always used to run A048s or EagleF1s on my other Jap metal but the Dunlops seem to review well for the money. Found the above tyres for £131.50 a corner fitted which seems good.

Ideally hoping to hear from someone who has had the Dunlops fitted but all info gladly received.

Thanks, just been reading up and the Kumhos seem pretty good.i had some Kumhos years ago and was impressed. I need 225/45/18 which is a bit unusual and managed to find them locally at £80 fitted.

Thanks for all the info, will be opting for the KU39's after your info. Nothing better than first hand experience.

I think I'll stick with the 45 profile as I do a fair bit of rough terrain and country lanes so the comfort is needed for the family.

Thanks again

Thanks MDMA that's much cheaper than I had found. Ordered and will be with me in a few days. Best price I had found fitted was £427 but that makes it only £362 for a full set fitted.

the mrs fsti is on a 40 mine is on a 45 , the handling is slightly better on hers but very minimal and could be down to suspension , even though shocks and springs are from same company , so a judgement call for you as very little in it , but a good move is the kuhmo ku39 for a good tyre , the spare size is closer to the 45 but still off on size
Two Foz Sti'!? Would love to see a picture

Quick update if anyone finds this thread in the future.

Kumhos are on and have been for a couple of weeks now, certainly no complaints. A little quieter than what I had before which were somed Asian brand.

The grip however is fantastic, certainly gives more confidence and had a spirited drive through the Forest of Dean with plenty of water on the road with no issues.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed, very happy with the end result. Exhaust next :-)
