Is this going to be a TA car? If so why the flat 6 - drive out of slow speed corners?
Seems an odd choice given the increased weight and cost, when the four pots can make big power.
If it's just because then - Well done Sir!
Road, track, sprint etc replacing my current classic with a 4 pot. Seems an odd choice given the increased weight and cost, when the four pots can make big power.

Different and next step really current flat4 with a gt35r without nos is about as laggy as I am willing to go but 665bhp is not enOugh lol
So flat6 an alternative route.

Sounds a sensible, if very expensive approach. Will you be using a twin sequential turbo set-up then to minimise lag.
Out of interest would a supercharger / tubo set-up on the flat four not have given you the same results?
With a pair of 350bhp turbos I hope to make 700bhp on vpower then have racefuel adnd nosOut of interest would a supercharger / tubo set-up on the flat four not have given you the same results?
No flat4 would be laggier

Basically the block is being pinned so will be like a closed deck block, same as the ej22t but with two extra cylinders.
Using forged pistons that are normally used in a 2.35litre build and have custom rods to allow that with the standard throw crank which is same as 2.2 and 2litre etc
Cams are being machined from billet blanks as the orignals wont take a wild enough profile, valves and valve train is replaced with supertec valves and double springs and new buckets and springs which is probably similar price to the cage install lol eek just on the heads.
Will be interesting as in effect it is two 1650cc engines spooling a 350bhp turbo so it maybe very laggy and need to play with uppipe diameters or it might not as the off boost 3.3 should be reasonable.
Other option is of course to revert to a single turbo gt42rs for example, but the engine just lays out asking for twin

Very rare do I see a relinered block without issues of some sort of having to resurfaced after a period of time as the liners settle and move.
Hence on the 4pot the ej22t block is the winner. Hoping with block pinned it should be okay as liners are fairly thick.
There has been stroker cranks made but they are billet and very expensive, if thise engine works well then I may build another bottom end with a billet crank.
I dont like to assume this engine and setup will work as I want until I have it working etc.

Insane build! Aren't Tein Superstreets and K-Sport brakes a bit low end for something like this?
I think people spend far to much on bling bits of kit and assume they do a better job.. the tein are actually pretty good and the ksports work.I have considered and have a set of AP4 pot setup which I am hoping will work as well but gain on the weight saving.
I like the Exetc suspension but they only do the track stuff now and this car will be used on the road and the road dirt and road use will kill the exetc stuff.
In an ideal world I would have a couple of sets of brakes, wheel, suspension and change for the application the car is going to do but this is more a bit of fun and enjoyment for me so if I lose a few seconds off a sprint lap so be it.. etc
should I get focused on doing something then I might change the setup to suit and go chasing something be it sprint or drag etc..
Going to be interesting to see the influence the extra weight at the front has on the handling... I am not colin mcrae and I may not even notice
