I'm having a brain melt here so looking for some clarification from you all.

Bmw 328, fitted bucket seats and air bags removed. Failed mot as air bag light comes on but does not extinguish.

I'm not trying to fool the sensors, rather just wire up a time delay on the bulb.

If I find which bulb it is and then connect a capacitor to the live feed on the bulb, it should light for a few seconds then extinguish, yes?

Ah no, it's a 99 bmw 328 so bulbs it is.
