Chemical metals, JB weld etc
Discussion
Hi guys
I've recently supercharged my mx5 and just got it back from the specialist who fitted the ecu and tuned it for me.
I had, for tuning, attached the charge cooler using some cable ties, as a temporary measure. I'm getting some special brackets made up to hold the charge cooler rad to the standard rad and was thinking about how to keep them still.
I was thinking of using JB weld to attach the brackets to the two rads. Question is, will it work? Is it as good as the blurb suggests and will the temperatures involved mean it won't last??
Or am I worrying over nothing and it's the best invention since sliced bread??
