First of all, how on this massive forum not a section for tools and garage equipment?

Secondly, I have an old compressor which has been fine... Recently, evrn since I completely emptied the compressor, it won't hold pressure and leaks from what I'm guessing is the regulator.

One thing lead to another until I got angry and kicked it, which funnily enough stopped the leak but now means the compressor doesn't work. . . So the long and sort of it is, I'm a knob, and I need a new one of these:

Can anyone tell me A) where I can get a new one, and B) how the hell I get this one off!?

Any help muchly appreciated, thanks in advance

Thanks for the speedy response chaps... The only brand names I can see on it are "Cobafer" and "Nuair", being realistic a lot of it is probably all made in the same place anyway.

Also, I just found this on ebay which looks like it'll do the job:

Almost worryingly cheap though!?

Just took a punt on an ebay one, for 12 quid it's gotta be worth a shot!?

Yea, i got it off in the end... I just had to take the pressure gauge off first so I could get a big shifter on the main body. Wasn't half stiff though, god knows how long it's been on there for!?

So that pressure switch turned up and the main port on the bottom was too small, didn't realise the thread was 3/8 not 1/4 like the rest of the attachments...

So I got up early doors and drove to machine mart inTwickenham this morning as I NEEEED this compressor running this weekend, picked up a clarks pressure switch for 20 quid... Happy days!

Wired it up just like the last one, but NOTHING is happening :-/ I've checked the main fuse in the plug and its not that... Can anyone see anything wrong with this wiring:

if not any ideas why it might not be working? . . I'll be pissed if it's a faulty switch!

Right, slight update... Every time I plug the compressor in it trips the main trip switch for the garage

I'm thinking that this switch wires up differently from the old one, stupid thing is it's doesn't come with any instructions!

Can tell me how these clarks pressure switched are supposed to be wired?

thanks chaps - Yea, where I had kicked the old one in rage the orientation was all messed up. I just swapped the top right brown with bottom left blue and all is well and good now!

Thanks for your input
