I've been driving an R reg 106 for a while now and it's proven to be a very reliable little runaround whilst being cheap to run. Recently however it's developed an issue where the indicators don't work. It initially started with them not working for a 5 minute interval, then them starting again. They've now totally packed up, however the hazards still work perfectly. The fuses all look fine and the heater works perfectly which I believe shares the same fuse. I've switched out the indicator relay and changed the stalk with the stalk out of a 106 I found at a local scrap yard. I've pretty much run out of ideas for what to do now as the car runs perfectly.
The only other issue is a tail light which refuses to work, despite the bulb being fine and the board which it plugs into being fine when hooked directly up to a battery. Not sure if there's any possibility of the two being connected?
With the MOT looming, I don't want to end up with it failing over something which is obviously going to be a electrical fault that I've managed to miss.

A few years later, and the 106 is sadly gone, however it was exactly that! I had a fiddle around the the hazard switch which fixed it pretty well!
