I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. I need to buy an extra long 12mm combination spanner - at least 30cm long. I have the longest that Snap On offer (22cm) but it isn't enough. I have an aviation spanner in the correct length but it has a zero degree offset and I need the offset at the ring that a combination spanner provides.

I would prefer a premium make so that the ring is as small as possible (tight access). Any ideas before I buy two and attack them with the angle grinder and welder?!

Thanks for the replies. Ratchet spanners aren't going to cut the mustard, there isn't enough space for the enlarged ring.

The job is the removal of OEM exhuast manifolds on a Ferrari F430. The access is a nightmare as the heat shielding gets in the way of a what is a very tight space in the first place

few come up on ebay if you search "12mm long spanner " not premium brands though
I've been through eBay - although they are described as extra long, they are only about 20cm or so long.

Can't you take a long fixed one and bend it to give offset?
That is a possibility although I think it'll be easier to buy two and cut/weld them together.

This one is 34cm in length, 12mm ring spanner - which has a slight offset if my understanding is correct (it usually isn't...)

And this one is 32.5cm in length

Thanks but neither of those have an offset - I already have a very similar spanner to those.

Once undone how the devil are you going to get it assembled again.

I only ever really F430 manifolds off to put aftermarket units on which don't have the heat shields so access is much better.

I'm fairly certain Strap on do offset aviation spanners.

Not sure on the length though as it's small size.

Thanks - those look awesome and I may have to get myself a set but they won't help here. No offset and not in 12mm.....
