Air compressor?

I am in the market for an air compressor. Will need it to run tools and at a later date, spray a car.

Budget of up to £300'ish. I assume belt driven in the way to go, as it's serviceable compared to the direct drive ones? Also, is it better to buy a bigger second hand one than a smaller spec new one? Even spares or repair as I'm not adverse to fixing things up.

Isn't that one direct drive?
Looks good, but I've noticed the 97db sound level. That's pretty fookin loud isn't it?
