Hi all I have an MOT advisory for discs and pads (front) on my Volvo but cant help feel like getting the garage to do it is a cop out. I know there is potentially serious consequences if I screw it it up. I have limited mechanical experience, I can change a wheel, do an oil filter and air filter and change the oil. The best price I have been quoted P+L is £155. Parts are about £80-90 for a set of discs and pads. Should I just man up and get on with it? How hard can it be?
