Identify this sound please- Is this Starter Motor?

Just after starting the car, I get this annoying noise. I have uploaded it on youtube (only 13 seconds long)

I actually replaced the starter motor couple of days ago, the replacement was a used one,

If its the starter motor, I am really annoyed that I was sold a faulty one.

when I took out the old starter motor, its teeth were a mess and the front nail bit (bearing bushing i think its called) had fallen off.

Should I return the starter motor to the person I bought it from or just live with it?

Thank you all for replies. I agree, its better to replace the starter with a new one. My only concern is that my previous starter was under a year old and it, especially its teeth looked in a mess and its front shaft had literally broken. Could there be more to this Starter story than what meets the eye?
