Many of you guys done it?

I've not done before & just pricing a job up at the mo & the list of countries to pass through like Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia etc just sends a shiver up my spine, am i right to be a tad worried?

is of course Italian ferry across to avoid them but tgat doesnt make great sense for where this location in the north east.

Serres is where ive been told at the mo.

Not really road conditions/tolls I'd be worried about, more security at night in vehicle that can't securely lock the doors on, getting robbed & passport theft etc, not so fussed about the load, racing car so not such a theft risk.

Although to add, my freight insurance covers me for tons of countries that might be considered a tad dodgy, russia, several 'stans etc, but the only one they questioned me on ref how often I went & if had ever had theft issues etc was italy!

Nope, priced it up but heard nowt back, did the sums & would do the drive via ex yugo way simply due to cost.

There may be an Athens on the cards, but as its further south would Italy ferry it for that one but think my pal has his name on that one.

I'm euro run from tomorrow this wk, just short Germany one tho, been bit crazy with euro of late been out every wk for about 7 wks, only got back sat late night from last one, can't complain tho usually better dosh than uk & my jan was terrible (always is) so need to make it up.

Chilli- nah pretty annoynmous & unsignwritten, the little single car transporter Merc perhaps the only unusual set up, as not may of them about, grey curtainsider & white cab, on its own or big white covered single trailer, single open trailer or more rarely big double length trailer.
