Hi all, I wonder if there is anyone on here who might be able to offer me some advice? I've got a 2003 Eurocargo tector that I use very occasionally-i last started it in December probably so even though the batteries are new ish and there is an isolator fitted they are nearly always flat.
Anyway that's not really the problem-i went to start it last week, as usual the batteries were flat but it would turn over well with a jump pack. It started as normal but then conked out after 10 or 15 seconds and then wouldn't restart.
If I pump the manual pump by the fuel filter under the arch it will start, but will only continue running if I keep pumping the pump which I can see becoming a bit inconvenient whilst trying to drive at the same time!
Any ideas? Is there a seperate lift pump in the tank that could have failed? Or relays etc?

Hmm, no stringy snot diesel-i removed all the filters and they seem to have 'clean' fuel in them. I had a very good look at the fuel pipes and fittings, most of which aren't that easy to see, I would assume that if there was an air leak, itwould also leak fuel under pressure which there is no sign of.
I've discovered that there is a low pressure pump on the back of the injector pump, im beginning to think there's a problem there.
