ME, two days this week, two days last week, good for me as I have had two easy weeks.
Shipped out on the Tunnel, came back last week on MFL Calais /Dover , this week queued for two days for the Dunkerque ferry, 40 degree heat, ran out of everything when I boarded, most of the fking booths were shut, wk port, wk attitude.
An S&K driver (Welsh firm , yellow and red Volvo's) had pulled his curtains outside the heartbeat monitor, they coned his truck off.biggrin All in all a hot sweaty lazy few days.
Anyone else?

Probably as a lot of us won't have any idea what you are talking about, especially the last sentence
Anyone caught up in the French industrial action this week try to cross the channel?

P.S Sort of aimed at truck drivers, who would understand the terminology.

The heartbeat monitor is the first thing you go though now, a large shed where they visually inspect the truck then put mikes onto it.

Knobheads in the tunnel, plus there are two less operator doing Dover / Calais, Myferrylink has finish thanks to the British competitions monopoly lot ( wkers ), because DFDS have bought ( or were buying ) the Rodin and Berloiz but sacking the French crew, those two boats are moored in the DFDS berths, and they say they have food for a month, the word is they have poured bags of cement into the engines as well ( that could be just typical drivers room bullst).
