I've just binned off my 2001 Renault Kangoo because it was a bit too long in the tooth and was starting to spend more time off the road than on

Looking for something to replace it with a minimal budget, <£1500 but appreciate how hard it is to find a clean van that isn't utterly shagged out for that! Not scared of spares/repairs as long as we're not in new engine territory

What would you buy? SWB Transit size but a £1500 Transit will be more rust than metal

Estate car doesn't work - too many journeys hauling engines and gearboxes, oil drums, etc.

Hiace never even crossed my mind so I'll have a look

Might be having a look at a Renault Trafic this weekend - dodgy gearboxes and turbos are problems I know of

Ended up buying a 2003/53 Trafic with 4 months MOT for £700, seems OK so far!
