Which motorhome - help!

Hi All,
We are thinking about getting a new motorhome.We are both complete novices and really don't know which is the best model/make or really what essentials we should be looking for.
It does need to have a shower and toilet,needs to sleep 2,the usual convenience items such as tv and cab air con and due to storage issues it needs to be less than 6m long.
We have looked at Autotrail v-line conversions and also Autosleeper conversions but they seem to offer less than the coachbuilt vans for more money.
The one that seems to fit the bill at the moment is the Autosleepers Nuevo ES which is coachbuilt but only 5.7m long and with the features we think we need and want at a lower price than the conversions.
Any advice or recommendation of where to buy,discounts that can be expected and what features to look for and avoid would be great.Also what is the reputation and residuals of the brands mentioned above in comparison to competitors.
